CONSTELLATIONS
Minimalist black and white series of hand-measured, hand-drawn webs of penned lines framed by regular convex polygons. Vertices and midpoints from opposite sides are joined together in an attractive cycle. New shapes can appear when observed from a distance; try looking up-close, then viewing from far-away.

Measurements and guide marks were made using a ruler. Trigonometry was used when necessary. Angling the pen off centerlines was needed in some cases to make interior intersections align (we can't always be perfect).

Drawn on 12" by 12" Bristol smooth.
