A high-school art class assignment: Draw an original character (requirement #1) and immerse it in a scene that features a word written in graffiti (requirement #2). After some sketching, I decided on a robot; easily replicated, like a cartoon, and easily drawn with a straight box-like build. Strapping rocket boosters to his back, I dubbed him "Rocket Man". I chose the word "BEYOND" as a fitting description of his never-ending destination. Rocket Man thinks and flies beyond the limits of Earth, and so should you.
