I consider the following people as role models, inspirational figures, and guiding spirits who cultivate creativity seemingly out of thin air and exude a sometimes-but not-always quiet, persistent passion in what they do. A list of the most important and influential people in my life would be incomplete without my high school math teachers, the zany, approachable cast who run the MakeHaven maker space, the extremely kind and bright engineers I had the opportunity to work with, or any of the quirky yet equally endearing professors I met at university. But most of all, the people that bring the most love into my life? My close-knit group of friends and my loving, over-the-top family whose support never wanes, especially when I need it the most.
